One thing I’d add from a mechanic’s point of view is that it helps to separate common model-related concerns from occasional individual faults.

On the RX 350h, I’d pay particular attention to the 12V battery and any unexplained warning messages, brake feel or unusual brake noise, and uneven or premature tire wear — especially with the larger 21-inch wheels. None of these automatically makes the RX a bad buy, but they’re worth checking carefully before purchase.

Then there are the occasional faults that may affect an individual vehicle rather than the model as a whole: sensor or camera warnings, infotainment glitches, rattles, or intermittent electronic messages. In many cases, software updates, calibration, a healthy 12V battery, or a relatively straightforward repair can solve the problem.
