Great — let’s try to figure this out together! Here’s a step-by-step checklist to diagnose why your Dayun EV car radio won’t turn on:
1) Check the car’s main power / battery
Does the rest of the car power on normally?
If your car has low battery voltage, the radio might not get enough power.
2) Check the radio’s fuse
Look in your Dayun EV’s fuse box (often under the dashboard or hood).
Find the fuse labeled for the radio/audio system.
If it’s blown (the metal strip inside the fuse is broken or burned), replace it with one of the same rating.
3) Check radio connections
If possible, remove the radio (or have a professional do it) and check that the power, ground, and speaker wires are securely connected.
Loose or corroded connectors can stop the radio from turning on.
4) Try a reset
Some car radios have a small reset button (sometimes behind the front panel).
You can also try disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes, then reconnecting it — but only do this if you’re comfortable or have help, as it can reset other car systems too.
5) Look for signs of damage
Any signs of water exposure, burning smell, or physical damage around the radio?
6) Professional help
If you check these and the radio still won’t turn on, it may need repair or replacement.
An automotive electrician or a dealer service center familiar with Dayun EVs could run deeper diagnostics.
Thanks a lot for your response. It was an additional cable connection for advert screen that caused it; after removing it and hard reset was done the radio powered up.
