Stagecoach, a prominent UK-based bus operator, has introduced the Volvo BZL Single Deck (SD) Electric buses into its fleet, marking a significant step towards sustainable public transportation. Here's an overview of the key specifications and features of these electric buses:

Length: The Volvo BZL Electric chassis supports single-deck buses ranging from 9,500 mm to 13,000 mm in length.

Width: 2,500 mm.
Maximum Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW): 19,500 kg.
Passenger Capacity: Depending on the specific configuration and bodywork, these buses can accommodate between 62 and 67 passengers.

Powertrain and Performance:

Electric Motor: Equipped with two Volvo electric motors, each delivering 200 kW, resulting in a combined power output of 400 kW (approximately 536 horsepower).
Torque: The motors provide a combined torque of 31 kNm, ensuring efficient acceleration and performance.
Transmission: Features Volvo's I-Shift 2-speed automated manual transmission (AMT) for smooth and efficient power delivery.
