I wanted to share my personal experience with my 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid, because after many months and thousands of kilometers, I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made when it comes to cars.
I bought the CR-V at 76,000 km, and today it has 85,000 km. In that time, it has proven itself over and over again. Not only is it comfortable and smooth to drive, but the fuel economy is simply fantastic far better than I expected from an SUV of this size.
In the winter, I average around 6.0 L/100 km, and in the summer it drops to about 5.2 L/100 km. For a 2.0-liter hybrid SUV, that’s incredibly impressive, and it’s one of the main reasons I love this car so much. The hybrid system is quiet, efficient, and always chooses the right balance between electric and petrol power.
I’ve also driven a 2023 Nissan Rogue, and while it’s not a bad SUV, it just didn’t feel right for me. The handling wasn’t as enjoyable, the driving feel was less refined, and the fuel consumption was noticeably higher. Switching back to my CR-V after driving the Rogue reminded me why I’m so attached to the Honda it simply fits me better in every way.
What I appreciate most is how predictable, reliable, and easy to live with the CR-V Hybrid is. Long trips, city driving, cold mornings - it handles everything effortlessly. I genuinely enjoy every drive, and I’m already looking forward to sharing more about how it performs as I continue putting kilometers on it.
