How close is Tesla Full Self-Driving to real hands-free driving?

Hi everyone,
I’m considering a Tesla mainly because of Full Self-Driving, but I’m a bit confused by the real-world experience versus the marketing.

For those of you who actually use FSD regularly:

• How often do you really need to intervene?
• Does it feel like a relaxed driving experience, or are you still constantly supervising and correcting it?
• In everyday situations (city traffic, roundabouts, highways), does it behave confidently or hesitantly?
  

I’m especially curious whether it already feels like a glimpse of the future, or more like an impressive beta that still needs a lot of human input.
