The 2025 Brussels Motor Show, held from January 10 to 19, showcases a diverse array of electric and hybrid vehicles, highlighting the automotive industry's shift towards sustainable mobility. Here's an overview of notable brands and their featured models:

Renault


Renault 5 E-Tech: This retro-inspired electric vehicle has been named Car of the Year 2025 at the Brussels Motor Show. It offers a range between 194 to 252 miles and starts at €25,000 in Italy.

Toyota

Urban Cruiser:
A compact all-electric SUV designed for the European market, the Urban Cruiser features a 49 kWh battery with front-wheel drive and a 61 kWh battery option for all-wheel drive. It offers an expected range similar to Suzuki's E Vitara, approximately 248 miles. The vehicle includes a 10.25-inch cluster screen, 10.1-inch infotainment system, and advanced driving modes. It's slated for UK release in the third quarter of 2025.

Hyundai

INSTER and INSTER Cross:
Hyundai introduces these all-electric models as the latest additions to its EV lineup. The INSTER offers a range of up to 370 kilometers (WLTP), while the INSTER Cross, tailored for urban explorers, provides up to 360 kilometers. Both models feature fast charging capabilities, bi-directional charging (V2L), and advanced safety features.

INITIUM: A hydrogen fuel cell electric concept vehicle that previews Hyundai's upcoming production FCEV, expected in the first half of 2025. It boasts an estimated range of over 650 kilometers and introduces the company's new design language, "Art of Steel."

'Silver Civic': Celebrating 25 years of hybrid technology, Honda presents the 'Silver Civic,' a unique version of the Civic e:HEV coated in a special silver paint containing real silver flakes. This model commemorates Honda's introduction of Europe's first hybrid vehicle, the Insight, in 1999.

BYD (Build Your Dreams)

ATTO 2: Making its European debut, the ATTO 2 is a compact electric hatchback equipped with BYD's Blade Battery technology, emphasizing safety and extended range. It features smart connectivity and eco-friendly materials, with commercial availability in showrooms planned for February 2025.

Yangwang U9: A luxury electric supercar showcasing high performance with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just over 2 seconds. It represents BYD's commitment to merging sustainability with luxury.

Leapmotor

C10 REEV:
This Range Extender Electric Vehicle combines an electric motor with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, offering an all-electric range of 145 km (WLTP) and a total range exceeding 950 km. It supports both AC and DC fast charging, with 50% of the electric range achievable in approximately 18 minutes.
